My previous post on the education system and other issues has been viewed by thousands, and I'm grateful to all of them. Some friends have criticized it, and I'm thankful to them as well, respecting their opinions. However, criticism alone isn't enough; there might be mistakes on my part, and perhaps there are. Instead of criticism or insults, a positive and well-reasoned discussion can solve many problems. I hope we learn to respect differing opinions and solve issues through discussion.
In my previous article, I touched upon a controversial issue related to the Kashmir problem and Gen. Pervez Musharraf, the former Army Chief and President of Pakistan, known as the "hero of Kashmir." I had expressed my views on the Kashmir issue 23 years ago under pseudonyms because expressing opinions on Kashmir was sensitive back then.
I'm sharing a 23-year-old article of mine, published under different names, including my real name in some international editions. This was my last article on Kashmir due to an unspoken commitment. After its publication, things happened, and I stopped writing on Kashmir.
The article was about the "Chenab Formula" (December 2003), a potential solution to the Kashmir issue. I'm asking the All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference friends to read the second paragraph carefully. If a movement was possible back then, there's something in it. I'm asking Sardar Atiq Khan and Usman Atiq to look into the Chenab Formula and the 2003 newspapers, and the Mujahid-e-Awal's views on UN resolutions.
Instead of just slogans, focus on research and prove my 23-year-old article wrong. I'm suggesting the "Movement for Jammu and Kashmir Province" to make the existing Azad Kashmir a part of Pakistan, at least. This way, you'll gain rewards and revive your politics.
Those who've been shouting "Kashmir's accession to Pakistan" for 70 years, if they oppose it now, they'll be hypocrites and traitors. I'll be sharing more about the 2005 earthquake relief efforts and government/bureaucracy's response soon.
