Syed Shahid Mohiuddin Qadri is a senior and experienced government secretary in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Despite his immense capabilities, unfortunately, the government has continuously overlooked him for the past ten years, giving him insignificant postings. If the new government of Azad Kashmir truly wants reforms, it must value officers like Syed Shahid Mohiuddin Qadri and make them part of the policymaking and reform process."
It is worth noting that a report from April 2023 mentioned Syed Shahid Mohiuddin Qadri as the Secretary of Local Government and Rural Development, actively participating in high-level meetings to review development programs.

Especially in the Civil Secretariat where I spent over twenty-six years of my life, during this long period, Shahid Mohiuddin Qadri is the only person whose honesty and integrity I can swear by. He is my first mentor. It is another matter that I haven't met him for the last 12 years because the relationship of his sternness and respect were two such contradictory realities that kept me away from him.
I hope the new government, especially Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, and other policymakers recognize Mr. Shahid's abilities and will give him an important posting where he can play a key and decisive role in bringing the government's reform agenda, if any.
